True. True. But SF is actually getting more affiliated with WB all the time. They just signed a huge contract with the WB music department (Lava/Atlantic) allowing them to have some of their most popular artists in commercials, and in concert at their parks. Honestly this contract is working really well for both SF and WB. There was an artist, called "Simple Plan" that I'd never heard of until i went to the new, updated SF website that makes SF look like a really "cool" place to go. I heard the intro on the SF website ("grow up" by Simple Plan) then watched the commercial for SFFT they were in and i knew i had to have their CD, so tonite, i went out and bought it. Sry to get off topic, but what im trying to say is SF gets closer to WB all the time, so hwo knows what's to come?

Yea-actually you can see all the artists' commercials if you go to sixflags.com then after the intro plays, click on music, then on commercials, and choose who you wanna see. They're really cool! lol

On the note of music, most of the bands that are playing at GA this year are affiliated with WB records, big names too, and next year even bigger as i heard

I don't know about her, but most of them are. Actually, Sugar Ray is playing at something like 10 SF parks this summer, on a SF sponsored tour

Thats true, but look at how many Superman themed rides SF has been putting in recently. Look at the fact that nitro was even rumored to be a Superman ride. It wasn't that hard of a guess to make, and if he was wrong, its easly to still seem right by going "They must have changed the plans, I mean look at nitro"

yeah i agree we are.. but u know i would love to see a stand up coaster even tough i heard that SFGAdv used to have one.. but it only had 1 inversion as far as i remember but i could be wrong... but i would not mind seeing like a Riddlers Revenge type coaster come to SFGadv it would fit a lil 2 good in our movie town... or even a Mr Freeze. but we have the chiller.. i dont know.. i still stick with the stand up coaster.. but thats probaly not going to happen for a while now.. so im just glad we are getting a flyer.. because i have gone on S:TE at SFMM and its just like one big freefall only u go 100 MPH in both directions up and then down ... its a fun ride only when they duel... ~CoasTerBoi~

Superman the escape is all about -G's or at least thats how I see it and thats awesome. I mean As soon as you get to the top if your holding on to something let it go and it will float in mid air right in front of you for like 2 - 3 whole seconds! Then you have to grab it quickly before you drop back down. As far as a stand up goes I've said thos before, but don't be looking for anymore stand ups to be built anywhere. The coaster industry has pretty much come to the realization that either Stand ups hurt( like ours, shockwave, did) or just make your feet dangle and totally defeat the purpose of STAND UP when you can get the same feeling on any dangling feet ride( like Riddler's Revenge or Mantis). And that is pretty much true. Really it is ok to say that with this new flyer coming that we have had 5 coasters with B&M technology, unfortunately although our stand up was B&M technology it goes down in the books as intamin . So our official count of coasters from B&M is 4. However, you can say that out of the 7 coasters made from B&M technology we have had 5 of them.

Ok, Nino there is a 0% chance of us getting a clone of S:TE. The nearby air bases would surely plotz with the construction of a 415 ft coaster. In addition, S: TE is a waste of time in my opinion. You wait a few hours for less of a ride than the Chiller . It's slow, and the only good part is the -G's on the way down. It's so short. And yes it does resemble Chiller too much to be built in the park. Also, the communites around GAdv would not approve of such a loud ride. I mean have you ever heard that thing?! WOW that's loud. And the rumors of Nitro being Superman themed ARE true. I ride op for Nitro showed me the controls and the LCD screen when it broke down once. He hit a key a couple of times and there it read: "Superman Kryptonite on standby". Why else would the tee-shirts be colored like they are (red and blue). In fact, T'was I who suggested those colors to a merchandising executive (Who likes to cook in black shirts on a hot summer day?). But they changed the name due to confusion from the 3 S:ROS's out there. And a lot of the merchandise was yanked at the last minute. I met with the executive again after Nitro debuted and he said that they allowed him to keep the colors that I suggested .
