Not many people in the "corporate department" would ever think of typing a word like "aint". In addition to that people at that level should be able to get a little bit more information then "I had a friend who was on Nitro, and he saw coaster parts. As well as the fact that they would have known that my posts about power launched log flumes were obviously false. Another thing that I find odd is I used to work for the Busch Entertainment Corporation (Sea world, Busch Gardens, ect) and I have NEVER heard anyone refer to the "Corporate department", now granted its a different company, but I would imagine that the higher ups would still be broken down by the departments they work for, For example, Operations, Accounting, ect. Not a generic "corporate department".
Sorry Nino but I tend to believe that none of what your posting is based on any reliable information.
One last thought, you said you work for the "SFGA corporate department". I also find it very hard to belive that you work for Great Adventure (SFGA) or perhaps you ment Six Flags Great America in Illinois (also SFGA) and yet you've never been to the New York Offices. I mean, once you get to the staff that don't work in or around the park, they tend to be staff that works for Six Flags as a whole, not just one park. None of what you say fits together. There's somthing wrong here.

Thank you nitro, not to mention that Nino would have known that the super hero land would have been outta the question . Actually next year is there 30th season it is not there 30th anniversery. Its there 29th anniversery. So far I have only heard of one rumor that seems to be at least a little possible. What I heard was to celebrate there 30th season Gadv will take one night in the summer and change northern star arena to "the past", Fort independence to "the present", and The Batman Stunt Show Arena to "The future". The pool at fort independence will be covered over by a stage for this event. They will get top name singers and bands (not known at this time). They will split the singers and bands up into the 3 different arenas. They will all perform at there respective arena until a certain time. At that certain time the bands and audience at "the past" and "The future" will walk there way towards "the present" while the bands are still performing while they walk. "The past" and "the future" will meet at the same time at "the present" where all the performers will perform. Until another certain time when the audience and the bands will then walk to "the past" the bands will perform there until a certain time. Then at that certain time they will walk down to " the future" where they will perform more. Then at another specified time they will walk to the SF symbol (the fountain) Where the night will end with fire works and all the bands singing. The event will be long (supposedly all night till early next morning) and will feature many top bands. At this point I've heard nothing else that seems at all possible unles you think they will get 4 coasters next year, a whole new park or build a coaster over the safari. (Yes I had someone tell me that Gadv is going to build a flyer over the safari so you can look down at the animals:

I dunno JJ, that seems like it would take a long time, and most people (at least I know I would) would just leave and go on nitro a few times.

Hey, i heard that we will never get a superman, Nitro was supposed to be superman, infact when they were building it i remember going back behind batman and seeing boxes labeld superman on it, but they changed their minds becusase theres a superman in SFA and SFNE, which are both 3 hours away, however , i heard it might be batwing or X. just rummors so far, you know how it goes,

I don't know about never getting a super man. I agree that Nitro would make more sense to be called superman, since it would then fit movie town better. But I'm not sure that a 3 hour drive is really that close when you consider that they are all regional parks. ** P.S. Nice double post

I believe it was suppose to be named superman, but the problem was that all the other superman hyper coasters were two across, nitro was 4 across and they changed the name. At this point I believe that if we are to get a superman coaster it would most likely be either a new coaster or a flyer.

A flyer would make sence, but then again who knows what kind of new coaster could come out.

A flyer themed to Superman would be so cool! They could build a fake Metropolis that you fly over, with fly-bys, and leg-(or head, or whatever it would be on a flyer)choppers. Also, it'd be awesome to fly over paths with people underneath, but i dont think that will ever happen, in case something falls (like a wallet or cell phone) from the pocket of a rider, or if a stupid visitor on the path throws something at the train.

For safety reasons they tend not to have coasters pass over pathways, for the exact reasons you mentioned chewman. When they do they often put up some kind of roof, like in the medusa q-line. However if they somehow integrated that into the theme of the ride (like part of metropolis) then that would be cool. Like they could have a clear roof that is part of the metropolis theme, and have the path go under it.

OK people we're talkin bout SF here! Do you really think they're goin to spend that much money on a metropolis city, um I highly doubt it. If they did then they would have probably done it with S:UF at SFOG but they didn't. They spend the big bucks on the coaster and whatever moneys left they'll spend on scenery which isn't much at all. Definitly not enough for metropolis city. I would have to say though that the best themed queue line that SF has would be for Joker revenge I wish I could go there the coaster doesn't sound all that good, but the queue sounds amazing, for a queue anyway.

I'm sure they wouldn't spend that much on scenery, i was just dreaming lol. but it actually is possible, and i say that for one reason...if any of you have seen some pictures of the new WBMW in Madrid, recently built from scratch by SF, the theming and the que lines look AMAZING, almost as good as disney. I'll try to get a link for you all to them.

Yes, but pashacar your talkin not only a whole nother country, but a whole nother continent! The curency and prices there are different, so it might be less money for that stuff there. I know its possible hell anything is possible its just that SF is not the ones who would do that good on scenery, esspecially in the U.S. Not to mention that the WB is, most likely, still associated with SF in Europe, so the WB may have contributed with some of the money and maybe they're the ones responsible for the scenery and SF responsible for the coasters (just a thought). Cause in the U.S. SF is no longer associated with WB, except through contract to use the looney tunes and DC comic characters, so here they don't get any money help from the WB.
