I think we all know what we need! We need a brand-new and updated Wooden! Mabye even a world record breaker!! One specifically designed not only to be the tallest/fastest/longest wooden, but also deliver the most air-time on the planet!! Heck, I'd almost rather see a brand new woody even if it wouldn't be the best instead of the Flyer. After a new woody, I'd like to see a Power Tower/Dominator type ride (common, y'all know we're missing one of them too!)

I agree, a modern wooden ride would be sweet. However I think it should be a racing/dueling coaster with lots of camelbacks, trick-tracks, head-choppers, near-misses and maybe if GA will be allowed it, an underground tunnel ;D.

yes, a nice wooden coaster would be nice--a big one with loops! but i highly doubt SF would do that. woodies are hard to maintain and how is that going to look in advertising? not particularly extreme. many people associate woodies with pain, and a big woodie might translate as more pain to many people. i don't think SF would view it as a good investment (which is sad).
power towers would be nice, but i get to ride scream at SFNE, so i'd like something i haven't ridden before. there is that one drop tower where they tilt you down 15 degrees before they drop you--it has natural magnetic brakes built in--does anybody remember what it's called? that would be nice, but i would actually really like to see a clone of superman the escape--that would be excellent, although GA is probably afraid of anything with LIMs right now!

I wouldn't count on a clone of S:UE . GA has a enough problems with the Chiller eating up the energy it does. Besides the Air Force base would probably forbid a 415 ft coaster going up so close to its airspace. In addition, most wooden coasters built today are smooth as butter, like Lightning Racer and the Roar clones. Maybe an Intamin Plug and Play will be built. I heard that Collossus was awesome.

Before getting a new wooden coaster , gadv should repaint , and retrack rolling thunder. All the trains should be revamped as well , so 2 trains can operate for both sides. Its a whole different experience riding while racing. Rolling thunder should be restored to its new condition in appearance and ride ability. It should race regularly. Rolling thunder is a great ride and should be preserved as long as possible.

Rennovate Rolling Thunder ...How much do think that will cost? GA had a pretty low attendance this year I heard. I don't think it will happen anytime soon. Not with the Flyer being constructed at the same time anyway. Besides they said they were going to paint it during the 2000 off season. They had plenty of time during the 2001 off season. Are they humoring everyone or just procrastinating?

Yes, wood for our next coaster defnitly . I would like anything except for a dueling woodie. Another dueling woodie would just take away the people from RT. This new woodie has to have its own unique qualities, but at the same time leave some uniqueness to RT. By the way, there is suppose to be a major flat ride coming to our park as well next year, as to what it is I can not say for sure, but definitly count on some type of drop tower like attraction. Also, it is now presumed that the 4 parks that Kierian said would get major rides for 2003: SFoT, GAdv, MM, SFGAm will all get a clone of S:UF, seeing as how none of them have flyers, however its not confirmed, and many are doubtful about MM since they already have a superman themed coaster, but I guess we'll see.

Another dueling woodie would just take away the people from RT. What people from RT? I, personally, would love to see a nice twister woodie... maybe back in the trees near Medusa... although there are some stability issues, most of the popular woodies are obscured by forests, i.e. Raven (#1), etc. ~Dan

Guys come on the flyer isn't even hear yet. Why are we already looking forward to the next coaster when we're going to have a brand new world class B&M flyer next year?

I heard from an employee(during one of the Coaster Celebration tours) that Great Adventure DID have plans for a major new wood coaster a few years ago,but built Medusa instead. As far as I know, they still have those plans somewhere.
