i'd believe we wont get that much stuff, but something nice... i do believe that we'll get a coaster that would be spread out within two years. One year will get a flyer and the other year will get an intamin woodie and intamin drop ride.

Very true, dragon, but also since there is only one intamin plug 'n play in the world will SF trust getting it. Since, unles its B&M, they seem to have trouble with coasters that are first and seconds.

No, there is no pattern in which we get a coaster. However, we have gotten a coaster AT LEAST every two years since '93. Between '95 - '97 we had a new coaster built every year. So, we still can and I believe will get another coaster in 04.

yes but SF said that the 4 big parks (SFMM,SFGAdv,SFGAm,SFOT) would all get rides for 2003. Then they said that 2 of these 4 parks will get one ride every year. I think to believe that SFGAdv is one b/c after we didn't get anything in 2002, the attendance dropped a lot.

probably gadv and mm will get a new ride every year, good point, but a flyer and a woodie back to back is kinda hard to believe

jj, since the one at heide park worked extremely well and was even finished BEFORE it was suppose to be done, (about 2 weeks early, it was that easy ot construct) and the sucsess that it has had i think it will become a good investment for six flags parks.

I think to believe that SFGAdv is one b/c after we didn't get anything in 2002, the attendance dropped a lot. I took that to mean that all 4 parks will get a new attraction in 2003, and then after that at least 2 PARKS will receive an attraction every year, meaning that at least 2 of those 4 parks will get a new attraction every year. So, for example, Great Adventure and Magic Mountain get a new ride the next season, then in 2005 SFGAm and SFOT get a new attraction. I don't think they mean 2 of those 4 parks will get a new attraction at THAT park every year.

There is a lot of room back by the Northern Star Arena, and Medusa, especially to the left as you approach the station. There is a stream in those woods that goes from Runaway Train to the Rolling Thunder high-speed curve. It would be interesting if they were to use this land for something, BUT Medusa would have to lose popularity first. As not many people know (or haven't thought about), the Medusa queue actually begins as you go under the cobra roll and the Medusa sign. Thus, whenever Medusa is closed long-term, they close off this whole section. If another coaster were to go in this area, some adjustments would have to be made, in terms of queue line organizations, AND the ride sections would have to be re-done... 220 already has four major rides (Medusa, Log Flume, Cables, and Mine Train)... Just a thought...

Actually Dan they could have the woodie, have its staion behind the northern star arena and then extend the pathway to go around the arena to the station. That way they could have the wooden use the woods between the lake and safari (and there is plenty of woods there to build a coaster). And wouldn't need to have the coaster interact with any of the other rides in the area. While we may not like that its probably what the park would like to have done that way there's no hassle on them to fit the coaster through, around, and between other coasters and tight spaces.
