Let’s travel back in time to Jan. 2002. Arrow has just opened its 4D coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain. If only Arrow constructed its trains right the first time we would be sitting on a 4D of our own. But wait!!! Maybe, just maybe, another company is working on a new 4D. A new 4D coaster for Great Adventure. Hey you never know. Who do you want to design your 4D?
For me, it's Vekoma. Yes, that’s right Vekoma. IMO they seem that they are the only company that would dare try again to conquer the coaster world. But before any of this takes place, a woodie is on the drawing board for GADV.

I definitely want B&M to redesign the 4d. They'd make it right. I mean they fixed the SLC, Intamin Standup, standard sitdown, and the Flying Dutchman. There's nothing they can't improve. Well, except for the fact that there aren't any diving coasters in the US .

well it snot all arrows fault...six flags did have them rish the design to meet the deadline, had they givin arrow the time that they needed they would not be in this mess.

Had arrow given a realistic estimate for the cost of developing, designing, and creating a brand new type of coaster they we wouldn’t be in this problem. Don’t you think that as they started to run out of money, and they saw this going WAY over budget they cut some corners here and there, didn’t put in as much R&D as they should have? Didn’t quite think it out as well as they should have.

im not going to start a debate over this but really, if six flags had LET them put more time and money into R&D instead of syaing that all contracts are final, then they wouldnt have had a problem
and for thos eof you who dont know, in laot of six flags ride ocntracts these days there sis clause stating that any extra work needed on the ride past its schudles operating date will not be paid for by SFTP, but by the company that had originally set the rides opeing date. thats how SF put arrow in Chap 11, and put Vekoma into bankrupcty with all 3 Deja Vu's.

Arrow basicly signed a contract that said they would develop and build X for a certain amount of money, so they had to. The problem is it cost them more to develope it then they said it would, but they were contractuly bound to build it for that price. So I don't see it as SF's fault but rather Arrows fault for not taking R&D into consideration as much as they should have.
