Our boards have grown significantly in the past few months, and it has gotten to the point where no one really knows each other. Use this topic to tell us about yourself and perhaps post a picture. My name is Chewman...otherwise known as Peyton. I am a senior in high school, 17 years old and live in South Jersey about 40 minutes from Great Adventure. My other passion besides Great Adventure and coasters is television. I am studying it now and plan to go to college for it and pursue a career. Below is a picture of me. That's about all I can think of. Now its your turn.

You guys probably know everything about me already, but just in case...
My name is Dan, and I'm a freshman at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. I am originally from Jackson, New Jersey, home of Six Flags Great Adventure. In 2000 and 2001, I worked as assistant manager, then manager, of the Super Star Studios audio and video recording studios at SFGA. After they were both bought-out in 2002, I started working in the rides department. I was soon after promoted to day lead of Rolling Thunder... and I've been in love with coasters ever since. Here is a summary of my ride certifications: ~Rolling Thunder: Attendant, Operator, Trainer ~Bugs Bunny Land: Operator, Trainer ~Taz Twister: Operator, Trainer ~Rodeo Stampede: Attendant, Operator, Trainer ~Viper: Attendant, Operator, Unofficial Trainer ~Scream Machine: Attendant
My most outstanding accomplishment from working in the rides department was test-riding Rolling Thunder 68 times this year! It's great to be a lead...

Hello, my real name is Andrew or Drew for short. I have an extreme obsession in roller coasters and meteorology. I'm a 14 year old freshman at Leon M. Goldstein High School For the Sciences on the campus of Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn, New York. On the weekends I live about 40 minutes away from GA. I plan on working at Great Adventure next summer, but until then, I'll just remain a frequent visitor of the park. I took many famous pictures of Nitro's construction such as the frozen lake one. When I get older I want to start a career as either an engineer that designs roller coasters like B&M, or a meteorologist working at the Storm Prediction Center or the National Severe Storms Laboratory in Norman, OK.

Wow! I didn't realize there were other Ivy Leaguers here! Fine, here's my pic, doing what I do best, OPERATING ROLLING THUNDER... www.ryanworld.net/jaguarband/albums/sfga/DCP_0708.jpg--> The image was too big to post in the forum, looked ridiculous, and I couldn't resize it, so the link will have to suffice... That was taken May 16, 2002, the day the Jackson Marching Band came to visit Rolling Thunder, and the train... just... happened... to get stuck... at the top of the lift hill... ~Dan
