Rides stay open in the rain as long as there is no thunder and lightning in the area.....some coasters may have -1 train operation...but that is all...so if its raining you get to ride w/o big crowds..Yeah for rain!!!

Thats not the case at Six Flags New England, if it is raining for more than 30 minutes, Superman shuts down because the tires that bring the train into the station can't stop the it in the right spot. One time there was very heavy rain that shut everything down but the Scrambler.

After all week of begging my friend and his wife to go this weekend and they also decided they might as well get season passes since I drag them to the park so much, lol, I'm a little bummed about the weather forcast for this weekend. One day we where there when there was a slight drizzle all day, the park was empty and the rides where all walk right on (re-rode the Chiller 7 times in a row without getting out of the seat). That's good if you're going for just the rides but something like Fright Fest with all the shows and live band and stuff, I think it's better with a larger crowd.

That's precisely why I always try to go to the park on rainy days. Only the season pass holders come so the park is relatively empty.

Well I didn't go. Not only the weather but I'm sicker then a dog right now *cough* *cough*. Oh well, mabye sunday will be good and hopefully I'll feel better too. Plus I have to pick up my early Christmas present at the park. tee.. hee.. hee.. hee.. Yea well I'm more into all the shows and people at Fright Fest right now rather then devoting the day to rides. By the way, did anyone happen to go today? I couldn't imagine anyone wanting to go to the park with a steady rain, especially during FF with all the shows and what-not.

It was a no go for me. I'm bummed out. I was looking foward to going for the night time festivities. Maybe tomorrow or sunday. Hopefully...
