If you ask me.. It looks just like a diveing loop. And I would say that Medusa has a Sea Serpent or a diveing loop. I didnt see anything different about the pic then the dive loop on Medusa. Anyway, I feel like Ive been robbed with this clone coaster. GA is the flagship park in the SF chain. What is going to make people want to come here if this ride will be at most other SF parks? Look at B:TR. It was cool when it first came out. But look at how fast it got old. Its not unique like the other inverts are. Sorry but I feel GA has dropped the ball on this one...

Just be thankful you're getting a flyer. It's not everyday you can drive down to Georgia and ride that B&M flyer. This way you can. Besides, the park is looking to impress the local people, known as guests, who provide most of the profit...not some enthusiasts who want to ride a unique coaster.

most people are not willing to drive cross country to ride a coaster. maybe as a side trip, but not as a whole trip.

Dropped the ball? Thats ridiculous. Where getting a new B&M coaster and you complain about that. Be happy about the fact that a new coaster is even comming. Oh well , can't make everyone happy. Too bad.

Hey, I also like the fact that we are getting a B&M Flyer. But the fact is that this ride will be at most other SF park in coming years. And you are happy about that??? Not me. I feel GA could have gone to B&M and designed a unique coaster for GA. Not be the second of many parks to receive this coaster. Its going to be another B:TR. One of the smallest B&M Inverts out there. I feel we could have gotten a bigger and better design from B&M. But GA dropped the ball.

But GA dropped the ball. even if it does get cloned all over, it still won't be at a majority of SF parks, so unless you go to 4 or 5 SF parks a year, how is this going to affect you? and even if you do go all over, most people don't, so having a bunch of clones doesn't affect them. so from a business standpoint, it makes sense for SF to stick with a working formula, and you can't blame them for doing what improves the bottom line. and think of it this way: if SF improves the bottom line by using clones, they can hypothetically build more coasters in general, so if it weren't for things like B:TR, you might not have rides like nitro!!!

I think it might be a clone but with something extra. Look at Goliath and Titan. If its a clone than oh well what can we do? I rather have an original too but I take any flyer anyday over nothing at all.

OK, Let me try to put an end to this.. The day the new ride opens next year I will be there. I cant wait to ride Superman. But Im always going to feel that we were ripped off of a bigger and better design. Are X-Flight and Batwing clones??? NO... Then I dont understand why we get a clone? But hey, Im glad to see that almost everyone here is excited to get a coaster that is last years technology. Also, If a clone was going to be the only way to get a fryer I think I would rather have a clone of Batwing. It was a awesome ride. The pic of Superman doesnt look as good as Batwing was. ;D

Yes, DRAGON82487 is right. Batwing, X-flight, and Stealth are all near-clones. And come on! S: UF's pretzel loop is FAR more impressive than any element on Batwing !

If this coaster was built last year at the same time as the ride in SF:OG then it would be different. If X-Flight and Batwing are clones but different??? then SF did that right. They opened the two rides in the same year. But a year has passed. Bring something new to the table. And I just remembered somethiing. SF has said that it will no longer build prototypes or something new before it has been proven. So in other words "GET USED TO CLONEING" cause GA is just goin to buy clones of other rides that have performed well the year before.

Alright let's cut out this debate. It is getting very repetitive.
