Nope, like it or not, its a clone. The modification I posted about has nothing to do with the layout...

The layout you have seen from the other boards is fake. I know who made it, and it was made to stir controversy.

This person must have sophisticated computer programs and A LOT of time on his hands to do this . I'll be a believer on October 23 . Until then, I believe this is the real thing . Or you can tell me this person's website .

The person that made it does have a very good graphics program and he made that a while ago as a custom design for himself, not anyone else. If you would like proof, go here: www.veatei.com/staff/vea/upload/ and click on High Voltage. Click on all pics and you will see.

Rob, just curious have you heard anything about the pretzel loop? I keep hearing rumors that they are going to take it out, its to instense, blah blah blah, but I've also heard its one of the best parts of the ride.

No idea how those rumors started. The pretzel loop will be on both of the S:UF clones. I don't know if these loops will be modified in anyway to take the force levels down, but I kinda doubt they will change it in anyway.
I'm not sure where people come off thinking its too intense. While, yeah, it does have a nice (awesome even) amount of G's, it's nothing which would cause anyone to gray out. However, it does have a weird combination of forces which makes it good.
The pretzel loop *IS* the ride as far as I'm concerned. I know some people like the rest of the ride because it does give the 'true' flight which the Vekoma flyers have very little of, but overall, that inversion makes the ride from being just decent to rather good.

I tried to get down to SFOG this summer, but I just ended up not having the time at all, so I'm really looking forward to the pretzel loop comming to SFGA.
Thanks for the update Rob, I'm happy to hear that we'll be getting it.

Yeah, well I grey/black out every time on Nitro's helix. It's not very fun when you lose sight and your head is swimming for second . The same goes for Talon, the only B&M that I dislike . That ride gave me a headache and I rode it again due to peer pressure and got another headache. Not very fun. I've had lesser headaches coming of off the Chiller! And that's too bad that we're getting a clone. I really loved that fake layout . That guy should work for B&M! ;D

Don't worry too much about the new g force law. The G force limit is based on time. From what one of the state ride inspectors told me any coaster existing or to be built will have no trouble with compliance because the maximum g force at any point in the ride is far shorter than allowed by the law in the first place.

Funny thing is I also grey out near the end of nitro's double helix. But i actually like the feeling. It proves tha the coaster is delivering awesome forces and it makes me feel relaxed. And as for peer pressure??? If u dont like coaster why are u on this board. no offense

I heard a rumor that underground tunnels are not aloud in New Jersey. I'm not sure if this is true or not. If it is, we won't get the layout thats posted. (What would be the reason for a law like that?)

I, too, have blacked out for a few seconds on Nitro's helix. But I love that feeling, cuz it seems like you just woke up and don't know where you are. It's a cool feeling! But I figured out a way to prevent those blackouts. When you're in the helix, look to your left (the outside of the spiral) and you won't black out. That works for me.. As for Superman, I don't care if it's a clone or not cuz I never rode S:UF at SFOG, so it's gonna be a new experience for me! ;D

what is the helix, that hammerhead thing? that thing is fun, and the hill after it gives you so much airtime
