7-25-02 trip and new coaster scoop

I just got back from Gadv. Robin is still stuck in the same place (center of the cobra roll). Batman chiller side was open. The left side of rolling thunder was closed as usual. The left side is always closed when I go to gadv I made my rounds , and the crowds were not bad during my visit. When I left at 2pm gadv started to get a decent amount of people there. The best part of the day was when I spoke to a ride maintanence worker who gave me some scoop on the new coaster. According to this worker , viper is comming down to make more room for the new coaster. This new coaster will fly over rolling thunder , and reach the parking lot by rolling thunders turn around point. It will border the safari at that point. When I rode rolling thunder today , I noticed a survey marker in the center of the coaster. You will notice it if you look down to your right side after the second drop. It sounds like and looks like this new coaster is going to be pretty big. He also confirmed it was a superman themed B&M flying coaster , and he stated he saw a rough drawing of the coaster plan. No details were given on that part. Nothing much different then what is floating around , but it is another confirmation on a new coaster.

Superman While I really want a superman themed coaster in the park I would hope they wouldn't throw the already lacking theming in the park totally out of proportion.

IM veyr excited to hear that the employee comfirmed it, but isnt it against policy for them to give out info on future park plans. Either way im veyr excited to hear its gonna be a superman ride.

Regarding the new coaster, I can say with 99% assurance that the designers' plans have changed within the past week from what was originally discussed. But, because of that wonderful park policy, I can't divulge any more information except the change was made for insurance purposes.

SO, THIS WOULD MEAN THAT A NEW COASTER IS A DEFINITE ;D. HELL YEAH that made me happy. ---- I wish I was an employee though I applied, but I think I applied too late and they never contacted me so I guess I was too late.

a superman themed coaster huh? BTW how high are B&M flyers anyways? anyone actually know, or can they make them as tall as NItro or they usually cap about 150 ft, just a question, but the coaster in frontier land sorry its a lil bit odd for me, i dont know about that, and please dont take offence to it, it just my personal oppinion and i am not contradicting "jetsfan" but im happy to hear that SFGADV is getting a new coaster ;D, oh by the way guys Six Flags Magic Mountain was great but 2 bad "X" was still closed and i do have to say Accelerator in Knott's berry farm was really awsome 0 - 82 mph in 2 seconds ;D but the bad part about it is that the ride is to short...

MOD EDIT: please note....its is spelled Xcelerator, not Accelerator. I folloeed this coasters consturction greatly, and people at other sites get very angry if you spell it wrong.

Hey Dan I'm goin to the park tomorow from 1-8 maybe I'll see you. But, yeah true they could always do it as like superman: saves frontierland or like superman:flight over the frontier LOL I would hope not, but I do want a superman coaster.

ok, i haven't really been posting that much because i have a life and i have plenty of things that i need to do. but somebody please fill me in on what's going on. i probably sound stupid, but i don't really give a ----. i just need to know what is going on and then i'll be kinda normal.
