Hello members of the Great Adventure Forums,
My name is Jim and as you can tell by my posts in this forum I go to Six Flags New England a lot. I live in southern CT so i go to New England just about every other week. I will be posting updated from the park often for anyone planning a trip up there. I have been to Great Adventure 8 times this year. I really enjoy the park. As for New England, I would have to say the park is small but it has a lot of rides. Also with no disrespect to Great Adventure those rides are always open. I have not scene a flat ride closed for more then a day this year. The only ride with the exception is Double Trouble (aka time warp, RIP, at GA) which has two sides and usually only operates one. Here is another little fact about SFNE that you might not know, the S&S powertower that is there use to only have 1 tower called the Helevator. When six flags bought the park, two more towers were added and the red helevator was painted white. Word to the Wise, if all three towers are open dont go on the one next to the thunderbolt. That one is the helevator and does not have the power shot feature that the other two have. It simply picks you up and drops you. The other two shoot you up stop at the top and drop you after a short pause.

Thanks for your help. I was up there last summer and had a great time. The park is very nice and I was impressed. They have a varied array of rides that are very unique as well. I am looking forward to my next trip.
