Hey All, Even though I had been a coaster fanatic for years I am just now starting to make the rounds to the events given by the parks (even though I was at coaster celebration last year). This year I have great interest in the Knoebels event in early Oct. Does anyone know how you register for this? On the webstie it asks you to fill out a simple form but provides no other detail after you submit. I called to order a campsite for that weekend and after reserving the lady said the event was not run by the park and she had no details to provide?!? Can someone fill me in please  |

Howdy,
Well I'm glad you are doing PPP at Knoebels! What a great park and a great event. PPP to me is the best event for coaster enthusiasts (along with SRM). We will be up there with the URC friends as always (come meet us at Camp Ripples, located right next to Twister inside the camp grounds).
To answer your questions, the PPP event **is** a park run event. It is NOT formed and planned by ACE or other coaster groups. You need not be a card carrying member of any coaster group to attend PPP. As always, their is no pre-registration for PPP. Around 1:00 PM a sales table will open where you can purchase your PPP wrist band which will allow you to attend PPP.

How Much?
$15.00 per person, $10,00 for children under 42" tall. Includes ride session (4 hours) on the Phoenix and Twister plus other rides if operating. We'll have special games and events too! Pay upon arrival at the round stand in front of the Haunted Mansion. DO NOT SEND MONEY IN ADVANCE. Fill out the form below, and submit. This is for planning purpose only.

post to rec.roller-coaster, or chat on the IRC.

5-7pm - LAZER RUNNER
6-9 pm - MINI GOLF
6-10pm - THE PHOENIX PHLIES
6-10pm - DO THE TWIST - TWISTER ERT
6-10pm - ANTIQUE CARS, WHIRLWIND, & PHLYER
7-9pm BUMPER CARS, GRAND CAROUSEL, & DOWNDRAFT
10:15 - BONFIRE
All events weather permitting
Additional rides may operate if possible
