It seems at this point that both Great Adventure and Great America will be getting the B&M Flyer. Whether both will be Superman themed, I don't know. My guess is yes, but if only 1 is Superman themed, maybe we will luck out and get an original theme. Nah.

Im not sure about that, and i could altought be wrong, but i also did hear that the flyer was in fact turned down, from its original location, and that was because they did not want more trees going down and wanted to preserve that natural surrondings, and thats why they put it in the parking lot and that also got turned down because the Emergency entrance is right there incase of any real emergency.. so thats why they have planned to meet up again so see if they can actually get the permit.. as for Great America looks like they might have their flyer already and the theme name Superman is most likely favoring them.. altought it could be ours also but we are having to many problems getting a permit for the coaster.. but thats just my 2 cents on the whole thing.. what does everyone else think about it.. do u guys think that we will get that flyer and if so do u think it might be named Superman? ~CoasTERbOI~

JUST CHILL We have a flyer also the coaster in the parking lot was NOT turned down they just needed to work out some concerns with the emeg entrance. The coaster was not approved BUT IT WASNT TURNED DOWN. The next meeting is set for the 24th. Great Adventure Will get aproval that day.
Dont start getting all worried because other parks are starting to get the same thing were suspose to. Six flags loves sending the same types of rides all over. Remember Batwing and X-Flight, Or the year of the stand up coasters, And the well knowned Batman The Ride!
P.S.- We are yet to see any pics of this track at Great America!

Exactly, we are most definitly getting this coaster, Gadv just needed to figure in the new emergency exit which shouldn't be hard at all, which makes me wonder if they will incorporate a Season pass entrance along with it. Do not count on it though, expect this season to be the last for Season pass entrance. Oh this topic should be in the other parks news I'm moving it there.

why are we getting a superman? i dont want one! please get something original! maybe superman for an imtamin impluse, but not a b&m flyer, that's just stupid. i'm not really fond of the b:tr theme either. if it's something like superman with lots of pretty theming, i could go for it. but i would prefer something like air or something heavily themed much better. it's a flyer, not a promotion for a movie.

I rather like the super hero themeing, however I seem to be in the minority. But, do remember names like Superman or batman bring the GP in and SF wants to up the attendance BIG time next year, so a superman theme would help in that boosting of attendance.

i like hero coasters when its done right....but i just don't like the superheo name being slapped on to a coaster unless it has good themeing like batman

I don't think you should complain. I'm exicted about the new B&M flyer. ;D Also, Great Adventure made their ride public but there isn't any track to be seen. Yet Great America has not made their ride public but there are droves of parts and track sections in plain sight! What's up with that? And I'm all for a superhero theme if they make it creative and detailed. Not just a backdrop, I want a story.

Doesn't anyone see the irony in this?
