the new rumor on screamscape is that the mine train will go under rehab and thats what the markers on it are for. What do you think?

I don't think so. I think that the woodie was supposed to go near or over some of the tracks, but then it got turned down by the planning board and so now they're just going to build the flyer in the parking lot and some markers were left on the mine train's tracks.

Well, now, let's not count anything out yet... When I left, there was still talk of intertwining the coasters... I don't know if this was true, or if things have changed, but that parking lot is pretty small for an impressive coaster... (We don't want another Viper...)

I wouldn't be surprised it seems Runaway train has had some problems this season, mainly with the mid ride brake. If you look they don't even have the brake running anymore. The train goes soooo slow over the brake that it looks like if they had a brake there the train would come to a complete stop! The last time I went they had an employee on the mid ride brake, maybe there to make sure the train made it through it but I don't know for sure.

Most of Runaway Train's problems lie in the station, as far as I know... They were always going down for overshoots, or prox switch errors (the computer wasn't reading properly). And since I've never ridden Mine Train, I can't comment beyond that.

I've heard that the wood supports that come in contact with the lake need some work. I don't think the entire ride is being rehabbed as Screamscape is suggesting.

I have also heard that Runaway Train was getting a total rehab, but I highly doubt it would happen. They'll most likely just redo some parts of the ride, if not any.
