The aquifer, known as the Cohansey Aquifer, is one of the largest in the country, if not the world. It is how all of South Jersey gets its water and extends from just outside Camden (city opposite Philadelphia in New Jersey) to the Jersey Shore and as far south as Cape May up to mid-state. It is not only vital as a water source, but ecologically speaking, it is the life center of all plant and animal life in the pine barrens. When you live in South Jersey, science class goes local. We learned all this stuff in depth with field trips and everything, haha.

exactly I said ONE of the largest in the world not THE largest in the world. And its not 100% untrue, the part about Gadv not being able to build coasters underground is a rumor, but a definitly possible one. And the aquifer is an absolute certaintly so I have at least 50% truth there.

Nitro's footers go down around 60 feet. I know this because if it was 10 feet (absurd for a coaster that size), it would be the "leaning coaster of jackson" ;D. That's because of the swamp land that it is built on. The same goes for Medusa, and Batman: The Ride. Also, besides the proof from the meeting, has anyone noticed any land surveying flags anywhere by the supposed construction area? That's how it started with Nitro. Has anyone seen people taking notes around that area? That's a good indication as well.

thats BS.......i can assure you there are no 60 foot footers........20 at most.......and i can tell you in about a week how deep they really are when I talk to my dads friend that is the construction business and has people in his company that worked on nitro and such.............and if they were ten feet it would be no leaning coaster of jackson.....10 feet of footers is fine if the coaster is built correctly and the weight distributed evenly among supports........P.S...........this is not a good way to start on the boards...but welcome anyway
