Well in 2004 it will be the big 30 for SFGADV! and the word in the coaster enthusiast world is that were getting something big. REALLY BIG. So what ar your predictions not hopes, predictions. Mine are if B&M takes up the 4D desighn we'll get one to blow X at SFMM out of the water or, if that dosn't happen I could see a hyper-woodie in the future.

I don't have any predictions. I'm pretty much happy with the coaster lineup as the park sits right now. Anything else is just an added bonus. Although I like the idea of a hyper-woodie. What I'd like to see is more shows like the Ski Extreme. What ever goes on in arena by the Medusa and the one by Batman the Ride? I never seen them in use this summer. I also would like to see all the speakers throughout the park playing music instead of just sitting there collecting dust. Mabye re-paint a couple of the older rides as well (Scream Machine is lookin' a little raggity). Ya know... Clean the park up a bit. (If anyone wants a good example of a well maintained park, just look at Dorney Park

Yea, they need to take some time and fix up what they have. Paint the rides, fix the sound system, put back the old entrance fountain (had to throw that in), give the park some much needed tlc.

They should also redo the Batman arena and possibly bring back the stunt show.
Another nice possibility would be to bring in the Batman water stunt show.

Im not concerned with 2004, especially since I'm looking forward to the Shiny new B&M coming soon However, If I had to speculate, I would say(and I hope!) a new drop tower of some sort. GRadv is long overdue for one of those. As far as a coaster goes, I would see 3 different possibilites. 1)4D- The only way this would be possible, is if X shows some reliability over the next few months. 2)Woodie- Doesnt seem as if GRadv has any interest in wood, and I doubt they would turn to some new wood to be a big promotion for their anniversary. New technology would be a much bigger draw to the GP. 3) Deja Vu- Even though it would be a capacity nightmare for great adventure, I think it would actually fit in nicely. A non launching shuttle is one of the few coaster types we dont have. Other non-coaster possibilities: A new 3d or "4d" movie to replace dino island(also long overdue). Also, I think a sally shoot em' up dark ride would be a great addition. My prediction...An Intamin Gyro drop, and a new 3d movie, possibly a Deja Vu as well

Although it would be great if X would show some reliability, even if it did I doubt six flags would build another one before 2005, or possibly later. Given its issues already they are probably going to want to see how it lasts over time before they commit to it again.
I would like to see some kind of drop ride, we are long overdo for that.
I agree that a Deja Vu would fit into the coaster mix well, but I don't think we'll ever get one due to capacity issues. Look at the coasters they've gotten recently, all B&M and all cam move people fast. If you look at chiller its a nightmare and Deja Vu is even worse from what I've heard.

Absolutely nothing. Anything that arrives would have been coming anyway. None of the SF parks have had a "celebration" of their anniversary so what makes you think we will? Things they would do for their anniversary would be something like a parade, banners around the park, a fireworks special, etc. Not a "special" new ride.

Just to get this out of the way I'm going to say it
25 years 25 rides
that being said I feel that those 25 rides were coming anyway, so I agree with RTneedsTLC

The Batman arena have shows during fright fest. I think if they finish adding the flyer this year a woody or drop ride could come next year because its a anniversary and it gives them a reason to add something making it not look like six flags gives them coasters and leave most of the other parks out. I think they take advantage of putting coasters on their anniversary which is good. Especially if you add a coaster the year before.

Yes, they got some very good performers this year, due to there new music connection with WB. Some other big performers that performed this year were sugar ray and baha men. Mandy Moore was originally slated to perform, but for an unknown reason was taken off the list of performers and was replaced with a one hit wonder from the 80's, can't remember exactly who though
