This topic is about cedar point.....so here it goes....Sunday is my birthday and today i had a family get together.....and i now own a little part of cedar fair ;D.....i got some cedar fair stock!!!.....this stuff shall be interesting to watch ......as for the new coaster.....whoever said it was 200ft tall at this point probably is saying that because they are comparing to M-force which is way off in the distance....so this thing is no more than 120ft at this time...IMO..but could grow to be massive...we will just have to wait and see

No, Cedar Point has yet to announce this new coaster, but they do acknowledge that they're building it for the 2003 season. Much rumor has gone around that the ride will be a continuous circuit coaster that goes 120 mph, and 400+ ft high, making it the tallest and fastest coaster in the world. Keep in mind that these are just rumors at this time. But it becomes more and more likely each day...

Don't pounce on me for this one, but I do not consider S: TE a coaster because it switches from potential to kinetic energy but does not switch back to potential whatsoever until it comes to a stop in the station. I consider it more of drop ride. Besides, the train/car does not even reach the 400 ft barrier before falling back down. Please do not flame me for this, I have a valid explanation and I stand by it. If Cedar Point's new ride is a "Tera" coaster than I consider it to be the TALLEST and FASTEST coaster on the planet.
P.S.: It looks like some HUGE bug (or rock) cracked the camera lens, LMAO ;D ;D ;D.

Hey there guys CoaSteRBoI here just wanted to share a lil bit of INFO i found while i was reading some real cool articles on CP.. well as regards to the RIDE being BUILT at CP.. the CP.. GP... expects this ride to be a lot taller if "RUMORED" corectly that is to be alot taller than its SISTER ride in BUENA PARK in CALIFORNIA called XCELERATOR wich is at a 205 Ft tall and reaches speeds of 82mph in 2.6 sec's the GP is also saying that yes inded it will be taller than MF wich is 310 ft.... now a lot of Fans at CP have seen Shipping Doc's with the name "DRAGSTER" could this be the name of CP's Highly rumored rocket coaster?? and i was also reading that yes people do actually know what the coaster is in fact it says and i quote "about 75 people know what the ride is - 50 employees and 25 outsiders, all of whom signed confidentiality agreements." so there u have it, this rollercoaster could set some major records, and i might just go down to CP when it opens tee hee tee hee ;D www.cleveland.com/news/plaindealer/index.ssf?/xml/story.ssf/html_standard.xsl?/base/news/103467423814850.xml ~CoasTerBoI~

The rumor that its going to be like Xcelerator is just that, only a rumor. If you go back and re-read the article it says that only a few people know what its really going to look like, and they have all signed confidentiality agreements and aren’t saying anything.

She's been topped off. She's huge, I can't wait until we start operating her. Seeing it from inside of the park is incredible. There are some great pics of it that give you a good idea of how tall it is in comparison to the other coasters at www.virtualmidway.com
