Well....it might have been track by what JJ2k said but i've never heard of track being covered by a tarp...but if it was supports it may have been covered due to the rain we had recently....

Ok , I guess I have prove my point. JJ2K claims he was travelling north on the pkwy at approx. 2:30pm near the clark/westfield exit. I travel the parkway often , and vehicles travel at approx 60 to 70 mph on that roadway , conservativly. Lets say JJ2K is in the inside lane(most left lane) northbound , and the tractor trailer with the supports is in the inside lane (most left lane)south bound , putting them closest to each other. JJ2k is travelling 60mph north and the tractor is travelling 60mph south. They pass each other at a 120mph speed. At that speed he would pass the tractor truck so fast there would be no time to see what was on the trailer , especially if a tarp covered the load. Another point: Lets say the tractor truck with supports is travelling to gadv. I was at gadv 9-28-02 , and did not leave to come home until 5:10pm. As I left to come home, I drove around the regular parking lot and season pass parking lot looking for any track or supports. None were found. I also looked in both lots for any new construction of superman, which has not begun. I even stopped at the entrance to the EMPLOYEES lot at 5:10pm 9-28-02 and was able to see around inside the lot. I did not enter the lot but I was able to see all around in it. NO SUPPORTS were there. The truck had 2hr 40min to get to gadv from the clark/westfield area , which could have been done easily , unless there were traffic delays. There were no delays. Sorry , but I will not drive all the way to gadv to snap a few photos proving there are NO supports there at this time. Anybody who wants to see for themselves please go to gadv today. Ride nitro's front car and look for yourself. Don't be fooled by the blue tractors parked in a line , thinking they are supports.

1. Are you sure you've traveled the parkway up north? Travel can move pretty slow up there...
2. Roller coaster supports are pretty big! I think we can assume JJ was not driving too... Therefore, if he first saw the truck .1 mile away, and turned around as it passed by, that's a full 10 seconds of viewing time at 60 mph...
3. Maybe the truck driver stopped for dinner... Or they're not storing track in the employee parking lot... Or maybe it doesn't matter anyway!

Yes I'm sure I travelled the pkwy north many of times , and still do. My wife is from union off exit 140 next to the tall union labled water sphere. The clark/westfield exit is 135 which is south of union's exit 140. Unless its morning or evening rush hour on WEEKDAYS traffic flows pretty fast during the early afternoon on weekends and weekdays for that matter. The only way traffic would be heavy , and slow on a WEEKEND is if there was an accident , which there was none reported. During the summer jersey shore traffic can really slow traffic , but its not summer anymore so thats out. I did not specify JJ2K was driving either. Bottom line here is no track or supports have arrived at gadv yet. I don't know why you are trying so hard to prove me wrong or debate the issue here. I agree with your last statment of your last post. Who cares already. Bottom line we are getting a coaster for next year. Dan , I never said 1 negative thing about you on these forums. In fact I have nothing but great things to say about you , and would help defend you if people suddenly attacked you for what ever reason. I was suprised to see you take the first shot at me over JJ's support sighting. Anyway no hard feelings here , I still think your a great guy.

OK, I really dought that you saw a truck on the ParkWay. Trucks are not allowed on the ParkWay. Remember. At least not on the northern section of the PW. If the truck was on the southern sections of the PW maybe I would believe this.

Since this is not bringing any new information to the table, there are no supports at the park yet, and we are indeed getting a coaster in 2003, I'm gonna lock this topic up. Let's repair battered relationships and move on...haha.
